The motto and the official emblem, consecrated by the British monarch, was not assigned to the squadron, but throughout its existence it was accompanied by this emblem, based on the traditions of the pre-war 112 Eskadry Myśliwskiej and which was recognised as official by the Polish government-in-exile.
