25.04.1941 - Formed in Reykjavik as a long-range maritime reconnaissance squadron with Norwegian personnel who left occupied Norway
23.06.1941 - The squadron commences combat operations, being deployed in anti-submarine operations, as well as patrol flights over the Norwegian coast and as protection for Allied convoys bound for Russia.
14.06.1945 - Squadron transferred to Stavanger in Norway
21.11.1945 - Squadron transferred to Norwegian Air Force control
