history
Formed 18.06.1943 at Hendon as a transport unit providing transport between Great Britain, Gibraltar and North Africa. In February 1944, he begins training for airborne operations and then participates in the Normandy landings (Operation Overlord), the Arnheim landings (Operation Market Garden) and the Rhine crossing (Operation Varsity). After the end of the fighting, it returned to transport duties and was disbanded on 14 March 1946.
