30.04.1943 - arises at the base of the Firbeck as a unit designed to control artillery fire, courier, and connecting flights and its flying staff consisted of members of the artillery, who went through pilot training. The unit supports the british 21. army group (21st Army Group) during the fighting in France, in the Netherlands and Germany, where it ends its war pilgrimage. Her squadron, the swarm and the individual aircraft operated from suitable surfaces directly on the front line and cooperate with individual artillery units.
