The prototype of the single-seat fighter triplane was built between 1917 and 1918. The machine of wooden construction with wings of the same span was powered by a 225 hp Daimler engine, which turned a two-bladed wooden propeller. After the first flight tests, the original two-piece upper wing was replaced by a one-piece wing and the engine was replaced with a 200 hp variant. At this time the aircraft was test armed with two Schwarzlose 07/12 8 mm forward firing machine guns. This modified machine was again tested at Aspern in July 1918. Due to its heavy weight, the aircraft probably did not excel either in performance or flight characteristics and so its further development was stopped.
