P-805 (РСБ-5) Aвиационная KB - pадиостанция
Radio station RSB-5 - R-805

"The radio station "the middle-bomber – 5 blocks"
Originated in the USSR in 1946 and its design was "inspired by" an american outfit SCR 274 "Command" - so as a "team".

In the whole assembly RSB-5 was up 5 vf blocks:
3 vf blocks shortwave
1 vf block středovlnný
1 vf block dlouhovlnný
Virtually with the use of the "lesser assembly" -
the radio station was produced in two versions, differing by the number of rf blocks and for the differentiation were identified:
R-805 has two vf blocks with a frequency range of 2.15 to 12 MHz

R-806 has three rf blocks with a frequency range of 2.15 to 20 MHz
(The possibility of using středovlnného block from the set of SVB-5 with a range of 300 to 500 kHz)

Operating modes: And 1, And 3
The performance of the transmitter varies in the range of 35 to 120 W (depending on the type of operation, the frequency and the antenna used).

Reach: when air – ground rdst in A1 up to 6,000 km, in the And 3 up to 2,500 km.
When the connection between the overland rdst with the wire antenna up to 300 km.
The control is local from the control box, but with some terrestrial radio stations, adjustments were made to control the remote.

- In-flight and ground sets radio sets include a receiver US-9).

To our air force getting together with aeroplanes If-2, Il-12, Il-14, the Il-28 (also I-4) for the remote link aircraft with ground-based radio sets and aircraft fasteners services used in radio networks in the band of short waves.

Radio station R-805 and R-806 were fitted to land-based resources and the habitats directive air traffic management.

Under me the available zdrojov, Patch-51-7, and aj's stránok, came in the case of R805 about stanicu zloženú of prijímača US-9 and 4 barring vysielača, from ktorých sa put štandardne tri (R806), in the Il-28 boli iba two (R805).
Blocks vysielača mali nasledovné pokrytie frekvencií:
1. block of 0.35 to 0.5 MHz
2. block of 2.15 to 3.6 and 4.3 to 7.2 MHz
3. block 3.6 to 6 MHz and 7.2 to 12 MHz
4. a block of 6 to 10 and 12 to 20 MHz
In zostave ochre prijímača, vysielacích bolokov bol aj inverter pre vysielače, modulator and control a tractor antenna (30 m)that contained aj prepínanie antennas and meranie anténnych prúdov.

Stredovlknný block would bol nezmyslom, prijímač US-9 mal omitted the range from 0.5 to 1.5 MHz. In this rozsahyu even nebola considered komunikácia, ide on the radio band.

(The středovlnný block was destined for the zone in which they operate aviation radio navigational aid means - i.e. on the bc. ARK-5, and could be used for one-sided connection - the so-called HORMONE. Has been used in problems of the connection on the VHF. But it is not necessary to elaborate. I don't know what is in the Link-.

Report R-805 to 2 blocks (i.e., the case of the Il-28)
The assembly R-806 with 3 blocks (i.e. on the bc. RAL-1.5 t; JRC-62)
Receiver US-9 he served, inter alia, as a control for interception of traffic afferent radio stations PAR-7 / PAR-8 and you have worked in a range of min. 150 to 1050 kHz with the fact that on our "inlets" to the mostly used frequencies up to 500 kHz.

Are there different entries for this radio in the various CSRL regulations? Or is there another problem?

If this sounds like a problem, it probably happened because even in the army people (even fallible ones and maybe they simplified it for the "greens" ... ) were working out the regulations.
I was basing this both on the prescription itself and on other (mentioned here) "applications" in Air Force RTZ assets.
As the designation makes clear, it was rdst AVIATION and so naturally "their" prescription is closer to the truth.

Basically, it was a "modular" rdst as its "blueprint".
One more (possibly repetitive) note:
The Soviets, inspired by the modular radios they "saw" in the aircraft supplied under the Lend-Lease Act. designed and produced the RSB-5 type. The explanation of the name is right in the introduction, including the "5" - five-block. The R-805 and R-806 assemblies are just used options.
