Infantry transporter ( "voiture blindée de transport de combattants") was based on the type Panhard 165/175 TOE. In contrast, it had a simple box superstructure without a tower. The machine was designed to transport up to 10 men. The armament consisted of one machine gun FM Mle 1924/29 caliber 7.5 mm mounted in the front upper part of the superstructure. About 30 pieces of this vehicle were built and were intended for North African colonial units. At the beginning of 1934, the machines were in service 1 er REC (1 er REI (14pcs) and 5 e Escadron (5ks)). They have been used, for example, in the operation L´Anti-Atlas. In 1 er REI were also two modified Panhardy 179 TSF (radio vehicles) . The vehicles in this unit operated until 1940, when they were transferred to 1 er RCA.
