SS-Police Regiment 26
SS-Polizei Regiment 26 was formed in July 1942 in Norway from a unit of Polizei Regiment Nord Norwegen.
In May 1943 it was transferred to Poland where it tried out anti-partisan operations before being sent to Russia. It was almost destroyed in July 1944, but the remains of the unit were not disbanded until November 1944.
