Praga T 6 in the Peruvian army One tractor of this type was delivered with the last delivery of LTP light tanks. The vehicle arrived in Peru on 27.2.1939 on board the ship Helga. In a test run, the tractor was able to reach an altitude of 4,837 metres. It served as a tractor for a mobile workshop, which was also part of the van.

Praga T 6 in the Portuguese Army The primary source [* 1 *] states that Portugal had ordered 30 Praga T 6 tractors. If these machines were delivered, they should have been marked T 6P. Due to the loss of archival materials, it was not possible to prove whether this order was fulfilled. Now, however, photos of vehicles from the 1940 military parade in Lisbon (? Source) have appeared on Facebook, so the delivery of these vehicles has been confirmed. As for the dating of this photo, it is quite possible that the source was wrong. Discussants state that it may be a major military parade from 1943 (Avenida da Liberdade, Lisbon). According to Portuguese sources, the tractor should have been referred to as "Tractor Artilharia Lagarta 10 ton Praga T6 m/1941", or Praga T6 m/1942 or Prague T6 6 Ton D mA/42. The number should indicate the year of introduction. In this case, the years are 1941/42. In that case, the year of the military parade could be 1943. You can see in the photos that the tractors were used to tow German heavy howitzers 15 cm sFH 18. It is said that the tractors were bought precisely because of these howitzers. 48 howitzers were purchased, so it is assumed that at least the same number of tractors should have been ordered.
The Portuguese online military archive mentions unspecified second-war foreign-made tractors, which were to be decommissioned in 1956. Whether it is a Praga T-6 is unclear.

Prague T 6 in the Romanian Army I have the only information about the Romanian T 6 tractors. All surviving vehicles were to be scrapped in 1961. 221 pieces were ordered, 130 pieces were delivered in 1941-44. The remaining 91 pieces were confiscated for the Wehrmacht.

Praga T 6 in the Slovak Army (1939-1945) The T 6 SS machines of the Slovak Army were used to tow 5 cm KPÚV (5 cm PaK 38) and 7.5 cm KPÚV (7.5 cm PaK 40) cannons. The registration numbers of the vehicles are not known. They were taken over on 5/1944 directly at the BMM Praha factory, and probably arrived in Slovakia in the same month. Five tractors were immediately transferred to the PÚV field unit in eastern Slovakia and one remained in the PÚV replacement battalion in Turčiansky Svätý Martin. The fate of the machines in eastern Slovakia was probably the same as that of other armament and equipment. They were confiscated by German troops. The fate of the last tractor is unknown to me. It is possible that after the outbreak of the Uprising it served in the rebel units.

Praga T 6 in the Swedish Army Extremely interesting photo for me "Praga T 6 SV m/1938" in use by the Swedish army? The source states the date of the photograph, 1938. The vehicle was probably located in the Smålands artilleriregemente (A 6) artillery unit (Jönköping). In addition to the indication of this marking in the source, the vehicle shall have a clear unit identification mark on the right. This is the alphanumeric designation "A6". With such a designation of the unit in the Swedish army can be seen in several types of equipment. I have not read anywhere about the Swedish interest and ownership of this tractor. Is it possible to test this vehicle in the unit?

Praga T 6 v nemeckej armáde The Waffen SS order from 1942 was for the delivery of 500 tractors referred to as the T-6 SS. Deliveries were to be started in 1944. As of 7/1944, the handover of 95 completed tractors and another series of 50 pieces in the state of development were reported. Other tractors were confiscated from the Romanian order. These tractors were characterized by all-metal wheels.

The original name of this type of tractor was TH, which was simplified to T-6 at the instigation of a Turkish customer.
