Bristol Beaufighter Mk.IF
Originally developed as a long-range fighter with Bristol Hercules III engines (1,044 kW - 1,400 hp) and heavy armament of four 20 mm cannons. The wings were later mounted six & # 357; 7.7 mm balls. It was used mainly for night chasing with airborne radar AI Mk.IV.

Bristol Beaufighter Mk.IC
Version made for the Coastal Command. It was based on the Mk.IF version, but the wing guards were replaced by fuel tanks to increase range.

Bristol Beaufighter Mk.IIF
Version with Rolls Royce Merlin XX engines (954 kW - 1,280 hp).

Bristol Beaufighter Mk.V
Two prototypes rebuilt from the Mk.IIF version. They were armed with a pair of 20 mm canoes and a turret with four 7.7 mm Browning machine guns, which was placed behind the cockpit.

Bristol Beaufighter Mk.VIF
Night fighter with more powerful Bristol Hercules VI engines (1,230 kW - 1,650 hp). A new onboard radar AI Mk.VII was used, later AI Mk.VIII.

Bristol Beaufighter Mk.VIC
Version designed for coastal aviation with more powerful Bristol Hercules VI engines (1,230 kW - 1,650 hp).

Bristol Beaufighter Mk.VI (ITF)
Provisional torpedo version, which was created by mounting a torpedo hanger on 60 machines of the Mk.VIC version.

Bristol Beaufighter TF Mk.X
The most widespread version designed for torpedo attacks with Bristol Hercules XVII engines (1,320 kW - 1,770 hp). The armament has changed, this version could not carry # 357; torpedoes, bombs or unguided missiles. A 7.7 mm caliber-operated guillotine was added, but the wing guards were not installed.

Bristol Beaufighter Mk.XIC
Similar to the TF Mk.X, but without the torpedo hanger.

Bristol Beaufighter Mk.21
A version that has been licensed in Australia for the RAAF since 1944. It was based on the TF Mk.X version. The Australian Beaufighters did not have a torpedo hanger, had 4 12.7 mm Browning M2 plasters in their wings and were equipped with a Sperry autopilot.

Bristol Beaufighter TT Mk.X
Version designed for towing training targets. It was created after the war by rebuilding older versions.

A total of 5934 pieces were produced in Great Britain and 365 in Australia.
