Royal Naval Air Station Twatt / HMS Tern




Naval Air Station Twatt - taken into operational use on 01.01.1940. Originally a satellite base RNAS Hatston with a capacity of 50 aircraft. Decommissioned 30.09.1946.


Units stationed at the base: 700th Marine Aircraft Squadron (??06.1942-24.03.1944 ).
