Stationary VHF finder SCR-564
was the most often used right at the airport as part of a ground-based radio navigation aids (originally as homing radio direction finding station - short: homing RD/F)).
-Was not equipped with a connecting radio station for direct communication with aircraft (transmission of data on the směrníku of the aeroplane), but these data were transmitted after modulation telephone lines at the airport or sector of the broadcasting centre and its through the aircraft.
- Operation consisted of 2 radio operators ("gonisté").
- Set could be alternatively installed instead of the "towers" to the container of the HO-34.
