Soviet surveillance radar meter band characterized by its antenna system consisting of 4 (2x2) YAGI antennas. It was created by modernizing the Soviet surveillance radar P-8 (NATO code "Knife Rest A"). The radar is located on two vehicles Zil-157.
Used to detect air targets in PLRK S-75 Dvina, Volkhov (NATO code SA-2 "Guideline").
Its further modernization created a surveillance radar P-12 (NATO code "Spoon Rest A/B/C").
Tactical and technical characteristics:
Frequency: 79-93 MHz
Impulse power: 55-100 kW
Destination distance: 185-280 km (200 km for a height of 15000 m)
Repetition frequency: 50-100 Hz
