The Sky Sabre is a short-range anti-aircraft missile set, similar to the Navy's Sky Ceptor anti-aircraft missile set. Trials of the land-based version began in July 2021, and the 16th Regiment, Royal Artillery received its first production kit in early December 2021. The kit is armed with MBDA CAMM missiles (referred to as Land Ceptor in the British Army) at a rate of 8 missiles per launcher. Aerial reconnaissance is provided by the Giraffe Agile 3D radar with a range of 120 km. The kit is equipped with a Link 16 datalink, allowing it to share air situational awareness information with the Royal Navy and Royal Air Force information systems, as well as from the information systems of other NATO allies.
