SOV - T-26 BSNP (obrněné samohybné pozorovací stanoviště)

T-26 БCHП бронир. самох. наблюдатель. пункт
T-26BSNP (armoured self-propelled observation post)

In January 1939, the idea of using the vehicle as a self-propelled observation post was dusted off again at Plant 22. The project would be handed over again to Im.Kirov's plant No.185. The prototype was completed in June of the same year and military trials were conducted on 23.06.-01.07.1939. They turned out similarly ingloriously as its predecessor T-26TN and the project was also discontinued.

The vehicle was again similar in shape and performance to the T-26T. The crew was a crew of three and for their work was equipped with a 71-TK-1 radio with a frame antenna, an Invert rangefinder (700 mm), a PTK tank panoramic sight, a PDN periscope (10x magnification) , a tank compass and two telephones with wiring. A DT machine gun was mounted in the front part of the hull.
