The Panzer-Ausbildungs-Verband Franken was formed 28.3.1945 in the Stuttgart around the staff, made up of core staff of the Armored school Grafenwöhr. Concentrated panzer training and replacement units of the Military districts XIII, XII, In, IX and VI to the final defense of the Realm.
