18. November 2015 set sail from Toulon as part of the mission Arromanches 2 to the east of the Mediterranean group of navy air force, which has in the area immediately involved in operations against the terrorist organization Islamic state, which already in France lead the forces of the French air force. The military potential of France is this in the area of triple. The group has planned to also take part in several bilateral and multilateral maneuvers. From the Mediterranean the group has to continue to the Persian gulf. The group, whose basis consists of the aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle, got the name of Task Force 473 (TF 473). Group operates the pdo tactical command of rear admiral René-Jean Crignoly. From the point of view of the operational chain of command will be grouping step through subjection to the various headquarters - depending on the momentary position.
