Latil M4 TX
Tracteur lourd de dépannage de chars B Latil M4 TX
In response to a 1938 request, Latil developed a new heavy tractor designed to tow heavy B tanks. Only one prototype was made, which did not succeed much in competition with the Somuaa MS CL 6 and Laffly S 45 T. Although the order of 19.1.1940 sounded for 100 vehicles, it was not fulfilled and only one prototype was made.
The vehicle was equipped with a winch with a maximum pull of 10 tons, the vehicle itself was capable of towing a trailer weighing up to 100 tons. It was equipped with a support plough and a slewing crane.
