The VCLC (Vehiculo de Combate Lanza Cohetes) is a rocket launcher on the chassis of an Argentine TAM tank. It was developed in cooperation with Israel. It has a modular design and was constructed in two versions. For launching rockets of 160 mm calibre (VCLC- CAL) and 360 mm (VCLC- CAM).
The VCLC- CAL (Cohete de Artilleria Ligero) is a rocket launcher equipped with the Israeli LAR- 160 modular rocket system. The CAL uses two 160 mm calibre missile containers. Each container contains 18 missiles. The missile containers are sealed during manufacture and can thus be stored for 15 years without any maintenance. When a missile is fired from a container, the empty container is replaced by another. The handling is done by means of a crane on the escort vehicle. The missiles can have either a three-jet or a three-jet warhead. The range of the missiles is 30 km. A US M 809 6x6 truck equipped with a hydraulic crane is used to support VCLC- CAL. The vehicle is designed to supply the CAL complex with missile containers. The process of changing containers takes 10 minutes. It is also expected that one battery VCLC- CAL will have one vehicle with a radar system.
The vehicle is armed with a 7.62mm machine gun for self-protection against enemy live fire and low-flying targets.
It is powered by a German MTU MB 833 KA 500 diesel engine of 530 kW.

According to some sources, development started in 1986 and the first tests were carried out in 1988. Due to the economic state of the Argentine economy at the turn of the 1980s and 1990s, the project was discontinued. Apparently only one prototype was produced.
