Mercedes (Bylinskij)
The spring of 1915, filed a happy.kpt. Bylinskij staff of 10. the army proposal for the armoured dělovo kulometného car. He was assigned two of the older Mercedes vehicles (probably Simplex 26/45) with engines with output of 45 HP. These vehicles were duplicated rear wheels and obrněna in Obuchovském race armor thickness of 5-6 mm. The cabin of the commander and the driver was separated from the fighting compartment, to the observations they had available closeable visors. The attractions included the location of the gun. Cannon Hotchkiss 37 mm was placed in the middle of the fighting compartment and the firing could be conducted through the open armored shutters to the hips and back. As secondary armament it carried the vehicle, one machine gun 7,62 Maxim 1910 and two portable vz.1902.
Completed vehicles were 15.06.1915 conveyed to the polygon of Officer's shooting school and have been on them conducted tests, which were carried out successfully. Max. speed reached was 60 km/h. After zkouškých was vehicles assigned name Обуховеч (Obuchovec) and Опальный (Opalnyj) and was sent to 3. the equestrian division.
In the autumn of 1916, were, for reasons of incompatibility with other OA's in st. Petersburg reworked to armored vehicles.
