Helicopters are a common sight in today's sky, but the journey to them was much more complicated than in the case of airplanes. It is gratifying that a number of men born in the territory of the future Czechoslovakia took part in the development of the first motor aircraft capable of steady hanging.
After the destruction of the PKZ-1 power unit, the engineer Žurovec decided to continue with the construction of the observation platform according to the original Petróczi design. In the meantime, large-diameter propellers were available - the results of the work of engineer Kármán at the propeller test institute. Nothing prevented the further development of the helicopter platform.
