Helfstyn

Near the town Border, near the town of Lipníka nad Bečvou, above the village of Tyn nad Becvou, stands the stately castle of Helfštýn, which is here a distinct field dominates.
Originally a small castle was built on the highest point of the castle, the hill from where it expanded.

Archaeologists from the Museum of Komensky in Prerov have made a significant discovery at the castle Helfstyn. Here they managed to uncover so-called "pompéjskou situation" in "under the" renaissance palace, they discovered an old palace of the gothic, or its part. These are the two rooms that were of a significant part of the retained and during the renaissance reconstruction retained, managed to capture a number of elements, including the gothic renderings of the oldest of its stages carries the remnants of painted decoration, have been preserved floors with burnt tiles, part of the one portal in situ and another portal or its significant part was found dismantled.
