the Church of st Giles
It is the oldest preserved, albeit considerably amended by the construction in Svitavy. Originally a romanesque church built around the year 1167 premonstráty. The present baroque shape in the years 1679 - 1683. In the year 1726, there was built the sacristy and adjusted the chapel of st. Nicholas and the Mother of God. The church tower originally stood alone.

The original vicarage was first mentioned in the 13. century, however, it is possible that she was even older. The current baroque building dates from the 17. century. For its construction were collected funds from the year 1626, with the completion of the building occurred about ten years later.

Synagogue
The period of existence of svitavské the synagogue did not last long. Exposed was the year 1902 and perished in the infamous kristallnacht of 9. 10. November 1938 (according to another source until the next day), while the local "royalty" for good measure, destroyed the local jewish cemetery. This is but preserved to the present day. On the site of the synagogue today stands the bus station. With regard to the location of the synagogues in the area, they had to svitavští fire department fire korygovat, and so to avoid its spread.
