[b:him]a Pillar in the Czech republic (Bürgstein)

The oldest settlements have doloženu already in prehistoric times, and in the area of the castle and hermitage Sloup.
The village we have for the first time doloženu 29. September 1324 (Blažková – Honců – Smejkal - Sovadina 1995, 14). Settlement is concentrated particularly along the creek and furthermore was probably at the beginning of the 14. century based rock castle Sloup, however, that is from the actual core of the village somewhat further away. The castle was conquered and burnt down in 1445, the same fate met him the year 1639, when it was occupied and burned by the Swedes, it is expected that during these events, she suffered from even a village. In 1596 he was under the castle built castle, which was demolished in 2. half of the 20. century. Later the then owners of the estate built in the years 1730 – 1733. Today serves as a retirement home. A church, probably wooden first documented in 1352, at the beginning of the 18. century was built the current baroque church (Poche et al 1980, 364).
