a Monument to the victims 1. world war

The monument is located on the village square, Bedřich Smetana. Ahead of him was later placed a simple plaque commemorating the victims from the ranks of citizens for 2. world war. The monument takes the form of a pedestal of break stones, in this pedestal are placed the plates from the front with the names of the fallen and the text "Already tlíte in the country to which you love vřeli. From the spilled blood of your freedom came from the flower. You nation free preserves my gratitude. Remember that they are in the distance die." Furthermore, after bocíh are individual plates of the names of deceased and missing persons. On this pedestal is placed a plate with a smaller canopy. This board has from the front in a niche plastic relief of standing women at his feet lie a helmet and at her side kneels a man - a soldier saggy in the back and relying (?) on a rifle. On top of this the plates are then on the sides of the dates 1914 and 1918. On the back of the plate is then written, "Dedicated to the citizens and supporters of the municipality of Týn 1925". Before the monument there is already the above-mentioned board dedicated to the victims of the national resistance movement. In one case it is a sgt. Janůje Otakar, přislušníka 311. bomber squadrons of the RAF, the other cases will then be in the names we read only of the year of birth and death (the passion and executed)..
