Re.2001

Re.2001 I.série
Serial production of fighter aircraft, produced 100 aircraft and 10 pre-series, was considered


Re.2001 CB
Factory modification from 1942 to an attack aircraft, under the fuselage it was possible to hang a bomb weighing 100 - 250 kg. Made 38 aircraft


Re.2001 OR II.série
Aircraft fighter, which was not used, wing machine guns could be replaced by a 20 mm cannon, it was also possible to hang bombs under the fuselage. Made perhaps 12 aircraft.


Re.2001 CN IV. series
Night fighter, which could carry an additional tank and two German cannons MG- 151/20 with 60 rounds in gondolas under the wings. Made 34 aircraft.


Re.2001 G
A torpedo bomber that could carry a torpedo weighing 600 kg. Only one experimental aircraft produced.


Re.2001 H
Anti-tank version with 20 mm cannons, design only.


Re.2001 GV
Fighter bomber, which was to carry a modified artillery grenade caliber 381 mm. Only a few aircraft of this version were built (perhaps 3 aircraft). Two aircraft were used in Operation Pedestal.


Re.2001 Delta
The air-cooled in-line engine Isotta-Fraschini Delta RC16/48 was tested on a single specimen (MM9920), the tests were performed from September 12, 1942 and were canceled as unsatisfactory.


Re.2001bis
The single aircraft was tested for radiators embedded in the wing and although the tests were successful, this version was the fastest, did not get into production.


Many Re.2001 have been modified and used as photo reconnaissance.


A total of 237 aircraft were produced, the sources differ in the number of aircraft produced, both in individual series and in the total number.
