Battle of Jerusalem

The Egyptian army took up position to attack Israel's southern border in mid-May 1967. At the same time, the general mobilization of the Israeli army ended, bringing 80,000 reservists into the armed forces. Weeks passed and nothing happened at the border. Egyptian troops were not leaving their positions in Sinai, but tensions remained. The Israeli government was aware of the bad effects of the mobilization on the economy, and therefore several units are demobilized. Dien Bien Phu

On November 20, 1953, at 5:00 a.m., the wheels of the C-47 military cargo plane, which was equipped for this occasion as a flying command post, took off from the concrete runway of Hanoi Airport. June 17, 1953 - Uprising in Berlin

Paradoxically, it was the heroic builders and workers of the "Stalinanlee" - Stalin's Alley in Berlin - who protested against the state-imposed wage cuts on June 16, 1953, and marched on the seat of government. The next morning, the lone demonstration became a nationwide uprising for better living conditions, for freedom and for the unification of Germany. But the moment the first Soviet tanks roll over Potsdamer Platz, it is clear that the SED dictatorship will cement the division of Germany for decades to come.
