Dassault Mirage IV

In the mid-1950s, the French decided to build forces for nuclear intimidation, which resulted in the need for a strategic bomber. As an interim solution, they simply built an enlarged version of the Mirage III fighter, known as the "Mirage IV", assuming an early replacement with a more capable machine. It is said that nothing is as permanent as a temporary solution, so the Mirage IV still flies in combat even at the beginning of the 21st century, although it is true that only in small numbers as a spy plane, not as a bomber. This article presents the history and description of the Mirage IV.

Douglas Skyknight was one of the first night jet fighters built specifically for the task. He served during the Korean War, where he proved his strengths, and even carried out useful missions in Vietnam.

Leopold III

Leopold III was King of the Belgians from 23 February 1934 until his abdication on 16 July 1951. At the outbreak of World War II, Leopold tried to maintain Belgian neutrality, but after the German invasion in May 1940, he surrendered his country, earning him much hostility, both at home and abroad.

The ‘Panzer I Breda’ (an unofficial name) is a rare conversion from the mid-Spanish Civil War. It was intended as a means of countering the Republican army’s Soviet-supplied vehicles (mainly the T-26 and BA-6).
