Task Feldtova corps was to secure the western borders of the Empire in the North Rhine.
For this purpose, were the corps allocated to the two divisions (Schmidt and Räßlerova) and the strength and the replacement battalions of the Luftwaffe. In the days 17.-27. September 1944, the newly formed corps participated in the battles with the Eindhoven and Nijmegen against us 82. airborne division during the operation Market-Garden.
