The order of the star of Romania

This high state order was established in 1948 by decree (government?) no. 40. The order was subdivided into five degrees, and in 1964 and 1966, with the form and shape of the procedure change (see pictures).
As is apparent from the articles of association or the statute of the order of the highest order of the country. Order granted for the personal merits in the development of the motherland, here it is the idea of the development of socialism in Romania after 1948. From 1965 to the year 1989, the name of the Romanian socialist republic. The name change reflected in the naming not only of this order.
Romanian collectors recognize and collect the order according to type. For our orientation we present the basic division of this order. Regulations in the different periods differed in size and, which ranged from 50 mm to 58 mm. The quality of design and choice of metal was left on the officials of the country, but mainly with regard to whom order is intended. Overall, the order is perfectly made from silver with quality transparent enamel. The size of the stars larger type is 58 mm, the smaller type 50 mm (see figure).

Řád 4.třídy I. typu je opět červeně smaltovaná hvězdice, celý komplet ve stříbře.
Řád 4. třídy II.typu je hvězdice o rozměru 63 mm vyrobena již pouze z obecného kovu.

Řád 5.třídy I. typu je opět červeně smaltovaná hvězdice, celý komplet je proveden v bronzu.
Řád 5. třídy II.typu je hvězdice o rozměru 63 mm vyrobena již pouze z obecného kovu. Mezi hvězdicí ve 4. stupni a hvězdici 5. stupně je jediný rozdíl v barvě smaltu středového medailonu. V literatuře se uvádí, že dekorace jsou vyráběny ze stříbra, ale většina nejnižších stupňů je vyrobena z obecného kovu.
Dekorace II. typu, které jsou určeny k nošení na stuze mají řádový klenot menší.
Poznámka:
Řád je ve svých třídách a typech značně nepřehledný a jen bdělý a znalý pozorovatel dokáže rozlišit řádové třídy. Soudruh Caušescu osobně rozhodoval jak a komu lze řád udělit a v jakém kovu s použitím briliamtů.
