The charge was introduced to the market in the nineties of the 19th century by Winchester. The charge was created by pulling the neck of the cartridge 32-20 Win. A very popular, often reloaded and still factory-produced cartridge in the USA. The 3.88g projectile has an initial velocity of 685 m/sec. The cartridge was manufactured by Remington Arms - Union Metalic Cartridge Company, Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA. On the right is a 7.62x39 round. Photo author.
