Medal prof. MuDr. Jan Jánského was established in the year 1990, as a replacement plaques. It is awarded by the Czech red cross.
Awarded for bezpříspěvkové blood donation.

Criteria for the award are:
Bronze medal prof. MuDr. Jan Jánského - for 10 donations of blood or blood components
Silver medal prof. MuDr. Jan Jánského - 20 donations of blood or blood components
Gold medal prof. MuDr. Jan Jánského - for 40 donations of blood or blood components

In 1993 there were CRC in the Czech republic introduced the Golden cross CRC in 80, 120 and 160 subscriptions.

The bronze medal is transmitted to the transfusion station, other levels are transmitted to the regional association CRC during festive předáváních.
