H 39089 - June 4 or 5, 1944, team briefing, hours left until landing in Normandy


H 39070 - base RAF Harwell, Oxfordshire, June 5, 1944, circa 11 pm: four team commanders (Lieutenants Bobby de la Tour, Don Wells, John Vischer and Bob Midwood) adjust their watches in front of the plane Armstrong Whitworth Albemarle of 38. RAF group, which will soon transport them to Normandy.
