In the upcoming auction of one of the German company is offered the star of this order intended for the emperor Napoleon. It was made in the second half of the year 1807 the paris imperial goldsmith Marie-Guillaume Biennais. Has a diameter of 107,5 x 108,1 mm and weight of 93.6 g. It's well documented, was several times displayed, e.g. in the Museum of the legion of Honour. The starting price is EUR 75 000,-. I'm more modest. I'll try to auction the medal with a starting price of EUR 75,- Very Happy ..
