Stormer 30
The Stormer 30 is a highly mobile armored reconnaissance vehicle, whose development began in 1995. The first machine was manufactured two years later. Despite a strong marketing campaign, it has not yet been introduced into armaments.
The main armament of the Strormer 30 is a 30 mm Bushmaster II automatic cannon located in the HITFIST turret of the Italian company OTO Breda. The tower can rotate 360 degrees around its axis, the elevation is -7.5 ° to + 30 °. One 7.62 mm machine gun is coupled to the cannon. A pair of PTŘS TOW located in the launcher on the side of the tower is used to fight armored targets. The armor provides protection against direct hit by 14.5 mm caliber weapons and artillery shrapnel.
Stormer 30 is powered by a six-cylinder Cummins 6B-275 engine with a maximum output of 187 kW at 2,600 rpm. Power is transferred using the T303 automatic transmission. The maximum speed of the vehicle is 80 km/h.
