The paratroop was dropped along with a group of Sulphur from a Halifax JP177/GR-P, belonging to the 1586. The machine took off at 19:25 from Campo Cassale base, where it also landed after 9:40 hours of flight. During the flight to Czechoslovakia, a drop of material for the Yugoslav partisans was also carried out. Shortly after the drop, the aircraft was attacked by an enemy night fighter, but the pilots managed to hide in the clouds. Also on board was the Czech drop dispatcher, Capt. Hajný(?).
