Ostrava - Mošnov airport lies in the places, where the brothers Joseph and Leopold Žurovcovi already in the years 1912 -1914 performed their first aeronautical experiments with the plane of its own design.
The first practically usable airport, however, there was established at the end of August 1939 hitlerovskou the Luftwaffe. On a modified field to the fields between the Albrechtičkami, Mošnovem and Hartami started from 1.September German planes to attack Poland. In the course of the war, however, the airport was abandoned and the aircraft is here to go back to after 6 years in the first months of 1945, when this space was to serve the air force of retreating German troops. After the war, however, the aircraft flying to the new airport and airport area came back again for agricultural use.
In the 50's. years ceases to meet the needs of the city of Ostrava and the entire region to suit the old airport in Ostrava - Hrabůvka, and therefore, in the years 1956 to 1960 was built a large modern airport in the Slovak army that struck into the land of several surrounding villages. An official of the traffic here was launched on 17.October 1959, when he landed the first jet aircraft TU-104A.
Flight operations by the company CSA included mainly national but also irregular foreign flights.
The airport, however, not for civilian transport, but mainly for the needs of the air force.Here was stationed a fighter and a transport regiment, and later the amphibious squadron. Since 1993 - after the collapse of the federation - leads to a reduction of the state military units and, in October 1995, the crew is completely canceled and the air force moved to other airports. All the activities related to ensuring operation of the airport have moved on to the shoulders of the Czech administration of airports.
Airport has become a dynamically developing organism. Today it is possible to meet airplanes from various carriers from around the world on charter flights, as well as machines domestic airlines.

- The first mention of the space of our former "largest" of the military airport dates back to the period of threat to the republic in 1938. In the space of JZ from Petřvaldíku was the area marked as "Blurred Mošnov airport"

V poměrně důvěryhodném přehledu přistávacích ploch Luftwaffe www.ww2.dk není zmíněn ani Mošnov, ani Albrechtičky, nějaká okolní obec či nějaká varianta s Ostravou, takže si nejsem jistý, zda odtud vůbec působila.


Teda jestli jsem se nepřehlíd, už blbě vidím

Nemusel si, ale možno len nie je v zozname letisko uvedené. Napr. poľné letisko Vinné tam tiež nie je, ale reálne existovalo.

Je možné, že pokud ho Germáni používali jen pár hodin či dní, nebo jen pro mezipřistání, tak v tom přehledu není.
