44 Henry Flat
Legendary american charge to be cased. The first written mention originates from the year 1860, on the market but got up to about two years later, in 1862. The charge is fashioned in a double the length of the casings and distinguished with the designation of Long Case and Short Case with a difference of a length of about 2 mm. The hub of the early production did not have a flat (flat) the front part of the bullet, but had a rounded tip. The charge is as well as some other, primarily rifle caliber, used in the short weapons. The original laborace was of 1.62 g of black powder, shot 14 g, muzzle velocity of 340 - 370 m/sec.
