On mieste dnešnej school was established in júli 1917 a military airport, home of the Kráľovského air corps. Začiatkom 1918 arose pri letisku Flight school (School of Special Flying), where sa študenti taught základom air combat and prieskumu. The school was a short while after the end of the Svetovej war uzatvorená (november 1918) and nasledujúci year was closed by aj činnosť airport. In ďalšom period bolo letisko 1921 used on civilné purposes and subsequently cancelled.

In the year 1943 in the area of the former airport built school pre vzdelávanie príslušníkov air force, zmenená in 1966, the pre needs of the whole armed forces.
