Notes on the history of "division" the command post 1. air fighter division[/heading].

Due to the fact that the date of the establishment of the command post in early may of 1952 and its own headquarters, was established to 01.09.1952, let me mention a few facts and circumstances:

In march 1952 he became deputy commander of the air force for the air defense of the state border brig. gen John Reindl. (In the capacity he remained until December 1955).

28.04.1952 landed at the airport České Budějovice under the direction of škpt. Soběslav Bílek first swarm of 4 planes With a-102 from 1. air fighter regiment, a subordinate 3. air fighter air division. The rest of 1. air fighter regiment moved on gradually during the months of June and July 1952.

On 3.5.1952, shortly after the establishment of the 5. air fighter division Žatec and passion of new airports in the Czech Budejovice and Dobřany the first units of 3. air fighter division to launch the service in cash to the defense of the air borders of the minister of national defense gen Judr. Alexei Cap under ref. 0043320: "Regulation for the air defense of the national territory".

This regulation have been retroactively from 26.04.1952 established powers and means to perform the specified task and the assigned
from 5.air fighter division (LSD) at airports Žatec, Cheb, Young,
from 3. LSD at airports Dobřany and Ceske Budejovice
and
22. LSD at the airports of Plzen (Bory), Brno (Chernivtsi), Elected (Hájníky) and Prešov.

That regulation was (again, retroactively) on the date of 26.4.1952 established in Prague at the Headquarters of air force WELL
the Central command post of the air force air defense (ÚVS);
in Brdy on the Hill of Prague Auxiliary command post (PVS)
and “divisional“command post 5. air fighter division Žatec (DVS) and command post 3. air fighter division Dobřany.
Subsequently, in early may of 1952 established the command post 22. air fighter division (DVS 22. LSD) Pilsen
and in České Budějovice for the "planned" command 1. air fighter division. (At that time it was up to 01.09. 1952 really “regimental“ command unit).

For the security of the new command posts were needed not only technical resources, but above all professional staff - especially the “šturmany“=navigators / letovody and návodčíky. But where to take them?

A solution was found using the participants of the Air coupling school in Chrudim study navigator (training group / squad N-3.
After the necessary “kádrovém the interview“ at the Headquarters of the air force in the Palace of the ANCHOR in the end of April 1952 received 24, the “almost“ finished lieutenants (eliminated 29.06.1952) a chance to form 8 groups of three:
(2 triplets for ÚVS Prague,
another 4 of the trinity to the town of Saaz, Dobřan, Plzeň and České Budějovice,
the remaining 2 of the trinity in Olomouc-Hejčína and Chosen-Hájník to the air operating centres).

The chief of the command post of the Czech Budejovice was to the day 29.04.1952 established lieutenant. Jiří Bednář (in the function of the Chief of the divisional command post - assistant chief of staff 1. air fighter division/1. fighter air division, he served in the 29.6.1955 and subsequently from 15.10.1955 to 15.07.1957.
After his departure 15.07.1957 took over as the chief of DVS mjr. Jaromir Šíma.

To build a VS České Budějovice was relocated trinity šturmanů=letovodů from a squad of N-3 from the LSU Chrudim. It was this Josef Hruša, Zdenek Janda and Vlastimil Kotyza, (all from 29.06.1952 in the rank of lieutenant).
Assembly VS complement of the trinity návodčíků - kpt. Janda, lieutenant. Bihunec, ppor. Sparrow and the girls in blue - a petty officer from the profession in the positions of the switchboard girls and kresliček / zna-čkařek (one of them was for example read. Ruzena Kotlanová).

VS was located in the building near the gate. After the establishment of the headquarters of the 1. LSD to 01.09.1952 in the building, where it was DVS resided and the crew division. (Loc.: 48°57'7.46"N, 14°27'8.13"E).
