The emblem of the ISTAR Battalion awarded by the Regulation of the Ministry of Defence of the Slovak Republic on the award of the emblem No. 76/2015 dated 25.11.2015 (Journal of the Ministry of Defence of the Slovak Republic No. 76/205). The coat of arms features a silver eagle on a gothic shield in a green field, clutching a black snake in its talons. The beak and legs are golden. From the lower part of the eagle, 3 golden lightning bolts run out at an angle of 30° slightly apart, the middle lightning bolt being the longest. The emblem also includes a silver inscription pr ISTAR at the top.
