Flik 8 was formed at the field the airport Žurawica (1 in the fortress of Przemyśl in July 1914, under the command of Oberleutnant Eugen Czapary (Hungarian Czapáry Jeno). During the siege of the fortress of Przemyśl by the Russian imperial army performed pilots Flik 8 postal and supply flights to the besieged fortress. After the signing of the Brest–Lithuanian peace is sent again to the Italian front on the airfield at the town of Bassano del Grappa. Where her at the airport Feltre caught in November 1918 the end of the war. Airline company Flik 8 was disbanded in the city Spittal an der Drau in the south of Austria at the end of November 1918.
