The brigade was formed in February 1944 in the Kharkiv military district and placed in Kharkov (today, Charkiv), where it was put at the disposal of the people's commissariat of construction, for which they provided the labor in restoring the Charkovského traktorového of the race. The brigade consisted of 2200 members.
