German mínolovka anchored near the village of Čunovo zostrelila 5. októbra 1944 british bombers Vickers Wellington B Mk.X (MF 458) zo 40. perute RAF with his päťčlennou crew - Arthur Leslie Mayers, Vallance McCall, Charles Herbert Gunby, Harry Walker Hesketh and Robert Cummin Ropson Johnson. Wellington mal for the role klásť deadlines to Dunaja. Under eye-witness events, bratislava citizen Vincent Szelleho, airplane letelo chvíľku somewhere along Dunaja, and then exploded. One wing for sa was found on the bank of the embankment, will bring the rest lietadla ended up in the Danube. The whole crew died, found sa iba one body, rádiotelegrafiu sergeant Gunbyho. Neskôr bol buried in britskom vojenskom cintoríne in prague Olšanoch.
