On 18.08.1943 shot down in the area Čuhujiva (Чугуїв / Tschugujew) Alexander Ivanovich Pokryškin squadron commander Hptm. Günther Sauer (born. 16.01.1915, Bartschin) in an aeroplane, Junkers Ju 88 D-1, W.Nr. 430825, 4N+PK, that even with the crew perished.
