Při přesunu 07.09.1939 byli v důsledku leteckých útoků (pravděpodobně 9 Hs 123 A-1 od II(Sch)/LG 2 – II. skupina Instrukční eskadry 2) ztraceni 2 poddůstojníci, 5 dělostřelců a 12 koní.
Poznámka:
Note:		 1) Pozdním odpolednem 09.09.1939 byla baterie společně s 23. hulánským plukem společně soustředěny v lesích jihozápadně od obce Przysucha v týlu postupujících jednotek IV. armádního sboru. Velitel pluku rozhodl o nočním přesunu do prostoru Svatokřížských hor. Po zahájení přesunu však na pluk zaútočila pěchota 46. pěší divize. V domění, že pluk je obklíčen, vydal velitel pluku kolem půlnoci rozkaz ke zničení kanónů 2. baterie 3. oddílu jízdního dělostřelectva, protitankových kanónů a tačanek pluku. Skupinky dělostřelců se měly z obklíčení probíjet samostatně a pak se znovu soustředit v prostoru obce Święta Katarzyna. Tam se ve dnech 11.09.1939-13.09.1939 shromáždila rovněž část baterie (1 důstojník, 7 poddůstojníků a kolem 50 dělostřelců), a připojila se k osamělé 1. eskadroně 23. hulánského pluku. Po několika dnech se už na východním břehu Visly připojily ke skupině diplomovaného plukovníka Pełczyńského, která byla 01.10.1939 rozpuštěna. V ní plnila úlohu jízdního průzkumu.
2) Baterie byla organizačně v sestavě oddílu, ale po přidělení k podpoře některého z jezdeckých pluků brigády byla operačně podřízená veliteli podporované jednotky:

05.09.1939-07.09.1939 23. hulánský pluk
07.09.1939 baterie společně s plukem ztratily kontakt s velitelstvím Vilenské jezdecké brigády a přešla plně do podřízenosti velitele 23. hulánského pluku.

1) (18.07.1909-16.07.1942). After the destruction of heavy armaments, and the dissolution of the battery escaped captivity. As a member of the the Earth's army was Germans arrested and dragged off to a concentration camp Auschwitz, where he died.
