Headquarters, Marine Corps / HQMC
Headquarters marine corps, respectively, formally the Headquarters of the Corps the United states marine corps (Headquarters, United States Marine Corps, HQMC), located in the Arlington in the state of Virginia. The headquarters consists of the commander (Commandant of the Marine Corps) and staff funckionářů and organizations that advise and assist in the performance of its legally defined functions and orders received from his superiors. The commander is directly responsible to the minister of the navy, and particularly in matters of administrative activities, discipline, internal orgnizace, training, preparedness of the forces and their effectiveness. Since he is the commander of the marine corps a member of the the United committee of the joint chiefs of staff (Joint Chiefs of Staff), provides him with HQMC, aid in communication with other members of the committee.
