we Know vojnové zločíny

Members of the Nankai Shitai (detašmán Južných of the seas) performed the blast at the Tol plantation, vo februári 1942, where they murdered approximately 130 Austrálskych vojnových zajatcov. Plantation sa nachádzala on the island of New Británia in Austrálskej part of New Guinea.

In novmebri 1941 velenie 55. group pechoty was sent to Guam, along with 3. plukom divízie (144. the regiment pechoty) and other diviznými units. When sa started invázia 2. battalion 143. the regiment pechoty sa nachádzal in Victoria Point and 3. battalion 112. the regiment pechoty in Tavoy. Both battalions of sa pripájajú to divízii in Moulmein.

Zostava 55. regiment of cavalry boli 3 company jazdeckej pechoty, one company of iron armor vozidiel, one guľometná company, and a company of anti-tank ' twas. chýbajúce part of the unit boli taktiež sent to Guam, ako súčasť detašmánu Južných of the seas.
