"The new wing" 3. the squadron was created to 01.11.1974 after the reorganization of 1. transport airborne aviation regiment, when they were from the regiment passed to the helicopters.
From the beginning it did not "own" the operating group of Engineering aviation service.
After a year's existence was a squadron - together with the other squadrons reorganized and technicians Engineering air services were včleneni to its lineup.
