A truly curious design by Delahaye's chief designer in 1937. The designer revived his patent for an articulated tank patented on March 29, 1918 (Sabathé-Varlet). The concept was created only in the form of a model. It was a pair of tracked chassis connected by a frame structure, which was fixed by a rigid joint on one tracked chassis and attached by a joint on the other. In the middle between the chassis, a gun nest (very similar to the later German transport fortress system known as Panzerstand, Panzernest, or Fahrpanzer) was mounted on the frame. The gun nest was mounted on a pivot which ensured that it was always in a vertical position when the vehicle was moving. As can be seen in the photograph of the model, an additional gun was to be located in the nose of the articulated chassis. This was a variable weight concept, so a vehicle of different configurations and weight categories could be created. However, the really interesting project did not go beyond the plane of considerations and the model's status.
